Where the name comes from
“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”2 Timothy 2:2 (ESV)
Learned it and lived it.
Was taught face to face.
Were trusted with it next.
Will carry it after us.
One sentence holds four generations of teaching. That is the model. Every man who walks in has something worth passing on, and something left to learn.
Four pillars
Each gathering centers on one pillar, so over a year every part of a man's life gets attention.
Careers, business, investing, and stewarding what you've been given.
Training, discipline, rest, and the energy to show up for the people who count on you.
Books, ideas, honest conversation, and thinking clearly under pressure.
Family, faith, mentorship, and building something that outlasts you.
A typical evening
About two hours, the same shape every month, so the time goes to the men in the room.
Handshakes, introductions for guests, and a meal or a cigar depending on the venue.
One member teaches for 15 minutes on something he knows well, then takes questions.
One man brings a real decision or challenge. The room listens, asks, and gives straight counsel.
Each man names one thing he'll do before next month. Accountability pods of three check in between gatherings.
Who it's for
Our foundation
The society takes its name and its model from scripture, and faith is the foundation we build on.
You don't need to share that faith to belong. Men of any background are welcome, as long as you come ready to learn, ready to teach, and ready to be honest.
